The New Heroes 3 explores the role of mythology in our contemporary society. Modern advances in science and technology have rendered mythology obsolete, but losing our archetypal stories means losing touch with the tradition that comprised our cultural foundation. Myth not only serves to explain the world around us but also helps us make sense of our identity within society.
The page structure and proportions of the layout itself are informed by early illuminated manuscriptsand it is printed on recycled newsprint, for its temporal nature. The lifespan of the magazine itself will be short, so its content will have to be passed on orally, much like mythology itself.
